About Us
The Team Behind Almaari
We’re a team of second-generation South Asian women passionate about bringing fashion boutiques and wedding suppliers together in one place - just for you. Like many Desi households, events mean new outfits, jewellery, gifting, and countless celebrations. Until now, shopping in Perth often meant driving across the city to scattered stores or relying on online options - which isn’t always convenient for women who want to see, touch, and try before they buy.

That’s why we created Almaari. What began as a small shopping trunk show has grown into a full bridal exhibition, and now we host two distinct events: one to connect you directly with vendors, ask all your questions, and grab exclusive on-the-day discounts, and another trunk show for those of us simply celebrating life’s many events - to shop thoughtfully and discover pieces you love.

We know what it’s like to want the latest styles in Perth - from one-off pieces to jewellery you’ll treasure—while meeting the people behind the stores face-to-face. Because at the end of the day, we’re people-people.

Our Story
As small business owners ourselves, we know the struggle of finding the perfect outfit, jewellery, or gift in Perth. We’ve felt the frustration of driving across town, making endless calls, or scrolling for hours online, all to prepare for weddings, festive seasons, or special events—whether you’re the bride, a guest, or celebrating Diwali.

Our inspiration comes from years of experience exploring markets and trunk shows around the world. We’ve wandered the aisles of Asiana exhibitions in the UK, admired the designs at Numaish in Dubai, strolled the bustling streets of Meena Bazaar in Delhi, and even fought the crowds in Phagwara for that one-of-a-kind piece. Every trip reinforced one truth: nothing beats the magic of seeing, touching, and trying before you buy, and connecting directly with the people behind the designs.
